Seven departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued guidelines to accelerate the green development of the manufacturing industry
On March 1, seven departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the People's Bank of China, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the General Administration of Market Regulation, jointly issued China's first "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Green Development of Manufacturing" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions").

The "Opinions" clearly put forward the goal of green factory output accounting for more than 40% of the total manufacturing output value by 2030. In order to achieve this goal, the green transformation of China's manufacturing industry will enter a new stage, and inject strong impetus into the sustainable development of China's industry.
To achieve this goal, the Opinions put forward a series of specific policy measures and action plans.
First of all, strengthen policy guidance, encourage enterprises to increase the research and development and application of green technology, and promote the green transformation of manufacturing. At the same time, increase financial support for green factories to reduce the cost and risk of green transformation of enterprises. Second, strengthen the construction of green manufacturing standards system, formulate and improve green factories, green products, green supply chain and other related standards, to provide a strong guarantee for the green transformation of manufacturing. At the same time, promote international cooperation in green manufacturing, learn from international advanced experience, and enhance the green level of China's manufacturing industry. In addition, the "Opinions" also stressed the importance of strengthening the training of green manufacturing talents and team construction. Through strengthening education and training, improving the talent incentive mechanism and other measures, to provide sufficient talent guarantee for the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.
In the future, with the continuous emergence and wide application of new technologies, China's manufacturing industry will achieve a more efficient, clean and low-carbon production mode, and make important contributions to promoting new industrialization and building a green, low-carbon and circular development of the economic system.
